Genevieve Nnaji Snubs Ghanaian Fans?

Reliable information reaching Peacefmonline.comindicates that world acclaimed sexy Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji, who is expected in Ghana this weekend for the premiere ofthe award-winning movie “Mirror Boy” and to also interact with her Ghanaian fans at the Silverbird Cinema, has still not touched down in Ghana.
According to information available to, Genevieve was expected to arrive in Ghana today, Thursday, June 16th, but as at the time of filing this report, the beautiful actress was still holed up somewhere in Nigeria, even though a co-star in the same movie, Osita Iheme, popularly known as Popo, is presently in Ghana awaiting tomorrow’s premiere.
A source in Nigeria revealed to Peacefmonline.comthat “Genevieve is not in Ghana yet, because she overslept and as a result missed her flight from Lagos to Ghana”. According to the source, organizers of the premiere back in Nigeria together with their Ghanaian partners, Global Media Alliance, are pulling all strings in a bid to ensure that the “Bursting Out” actress makes it to Ghana by close of day or early tomorrow morning.
Genevieve and Pawpaw are expected to address a press conference on Friday morning at the Royal Richester Hotel and interact with her fans at the Silverbird cinema, before gracingthe premiere later in the evening.
Meanwhile, peacefmonline.comis reliably informed that barring any last minute hitches, Genevive Nnaji will touched down at the Kotoka International Airport tonight. Well, let’s hope she does arrive and not disappoint her numerous fans.
As part of the launch, the first 150 customers to purchase a ticket to watch “Mirror Boy” on Saturday, 18th June 2011, will get a “1GB Oh Africa USB” wristband.
Since its inception, Silverbird Cinemas has premiered several blockbuster movies including, “Salt”, ‘X-Men Origins”: ‘Wolverine’, ”This is It”, the Harry Potter franchise, and “Prince of Persia”. Other movies showing over the weekend include “X-Men: First Class”, “Hanna”, “Adam’s Apple”, “Fast Five”, and “Hang Over 2”. Also watch out for the release of “Kung FU Panda” and “Jumping the Broom” at the Silverbird cinema.
